How Much Does a Breast Lift Cost?

Here in Chicago, the cost of breast lift surgery depends very much on the specifics of the surgery. During your consultation, we offer you a written estimate for your procedure that details the anticipated fees. There’s no need to decide immediately during this appointment. Instead, you can take home the estimate and share it with other household decision-makers before moving forward with your surgery.

What Are the Different Types of Breast Lift?

Your breast lift surgery is tailored to your needs. During the planning process, Dr. Sisco takes extensive measurements of your breasts and facilitates a candid discussion with you about your ideal outcome. Typically, a breast lift is performed using 1 of the following incision types:

Regardless of the incision that’s the best match for you, Dr. Sisco uses meticulous techniques during surgery to ensure that the resulting scar is as discreet as possible.

Choosing Between a Breast Lift and Augmentation

A breast lift removes sagging, excess skin and raises the breasts to create more shapely, youthfully positioned breasts, but it doesn’t add the volume you would get from a breast augmentation. Women who want both fuller and more elevated breasts often combine their breast lift with implants to achieve the results they’re looking for.

Breast lift surgery can also be combined with breast implant removal surgery to reshape the breasts or breast reduction to reduce the size of your breasts and lift them. During your consultation, Dr. Sisco listens carefully to your aesthetic goals and helps you decide on the best approach.

What Can I Expect on the Day of My Breast Lift Surgery?

Dr. Sisco performs breast lift surgery as an outpatient procedure. However, to ensure your comfort, you’ll be under general anesthesia for the duration. The procedure can take a couple of hours to complete, after which you’re briefly monitored before being able to return home in the care of an adult.

How Long Is Recovery From a Breast Lift?

Recuperation after a breast lift is often faster than patients anticipate, although you should expect some bruising and swelling in the breast area that will mostly resolve within a couple of weeks of the surgery. Wearing a support bra helps minimize swelling; you will receive guidance from Dr. Sisco on how to address these and other issues during your recovery.

If you work a relatively sedentary job, you should be able to comfortably return to the office within a week. However, it’s best to avoid anything strenuous for several more weeks.

It’s important to keep your incisions dry and protected during your recovery. Once you are cleared to shower after surgery, be sure to pat your incisions thoroughly dry. Do not sit in a bathtub or go swimming for the first 4 weeks after surgery so that your incisions have time to heal fully before being immersed in water. With proper care, breast lift incisions will fade from red to light pink over the next few months and begin to flatten.

How Long After a Breast Lift Can I Sleep on My Side?

After a breast lift, avoid sleeping on your side or stomach for the first week or two to prevent putting pressure on the incisions. It’s best to sleep on your back propped up with pillows or in a recliner as directed by Dr. Sicso.

How Long Does a Breast Lift Last?

Your breast lift results can last for many years, especially if your weight stays relatively stable and you don’t become pregnant.

Get started today. Request your consultation with Dr. Sisco online or call us at (847) 504-2333 to request your appointment. Located just north of Chicago, our office is minutes away from Arlington Heights, Glenview, Highland Park, and Glencoe.

Achieve Smoother Contours With Axillary Breast Tissue Excision

Take your results to the next level by combining your breast lift with axillary breast tissue excision—a procedure in which Dr. Sisco carefully removes excess tissue in the armpit area. This helps achieve a more contoured look and eliminates unwanted bumps for a naturally smooth appearance.

Hey... If you’re looking for rhinoplasty, May I suggest Dr. Warner. I didn’t expect to be this happy. This guy is just good at what he does. My healing process wasn’t as long as others. If I wasn’t moving to TX. I would definitely have him do more work for me.
An excellent surgeon, doctor, person! Fantastic bedside manner. Quality of work is outstanding. I can’t say enough great things about Dr. Sisco!
I was referred to Dr Sisco after the birth of my 13th child. I dealt with years of near constant backaches due to having developed a separated abdominal wall. I am SO glad that I found a competent plastic surgeon and I could not be happier with my results! I highly recommend Dr Sisco.
I've had nothing but a positive experience with Dr. Sisco and his staff. I required four surgeries for a double mastectomy with reconstruction. Dr. Sisco held my hand through the entire process, as well as, handling some insurance issues I faced due to our chosen treatment plan. He's an exceptional surgeon and has a wonderful bedside manner. I cannot recommend him enough.
I had double mastectomy 3 years ago. The reconstructive surgery was completed after my chemotherapy was completed. Dr. Sisco did an outstanding job. I am so happy with the results. I look and feel good. His staff was supportive and took good care of me. The reconstruction of the nipple was painless and looks great. I would recommend Dr. Sisco to anyone.
I found Dr Sisco to be a very skilled surgeon in breast reconstruction. Mine was a bit more difficult as I had a reconstruction of the left breast after radical mastectomy, a nipple tattoo and a lift of the right breast to create semitry. I found Dr Sisco and his staff very professional and extremely kind!! He has very impressive credentials and I would highly recommend him ! Sincerely, Marlene Gaggiano
My experience with Dr. Sisco and his staff was nothing but wonderful. From my first appointment, I felt comfortable and in good hands. I am so grateful to have gone to Dr. Sisco, as he has given me confidence in my appearance. I couldn't have asked for a better result, and I am thankful everyday for what he has done for me!
Dr. Sisco is very professional and easy to talk to, and did a fantastic job with my breast reduction surgery. I'd highly recommend him.
I had breast reduction surgery and am very thrilled with the results and with Dr. Sisco and his office. I was referred to Dr. Sisco by my primary care. I did take a minute to go online and see his profile on his website. The before and after photos impressed me. Knowing what the "after" would look like was important to me. Dr. Sisco is very easy to talk with and was patient with any questions or concerns I had. His office staff is very pleasant and were thorough making sure I was prepared for surgery. My decision to have surgery wasn't overnight, and I have no regrets. I am thankful to have a wonderful doctor, and his "team", who supported me through the process.
Dr. Sisco has been an integral part of my breast cancer journey and return to “normalcy.” Over the past year, from diagnosis through various reconstruction surgeries, he has been a stellar support, an absolute professional, and an innately talented surgeon. His work and bedside demeanor have been stellar, and he has left me looking (and feeling) far better than I could have expected. He is a perfectionist – something you absolutely want and need in a plastic surgeon. I am thankful to him and his team for their compassion, skill, and impeccable service. I give my highest recommendation for Dr. Sisco and staff.
