This woman in her 50s underwent a double nipple-sparing mastectomy. She wanted to be a bit larger, so Northbrook plastic surgeon Dr. Mark Sisco performed her breast reconstruction in two stages. He first used a tissue expander to stretch her skin; heĀ then placedĀ anatomic (teardrop) 330 cc silicone implants in the prepectoral position (in front of the muscle).
