How Much Does Liposuction Cost?

How Does Liposuction Work?

In most cases, Dr. Sisco performs liposuction as an outpatient procedure using general anesthesia. Once you are asleep, he makes small, well-concealed incisions on or around your desired treatment area and inserts a thin tube called a cannula beneath the skin. Dr. Sisco then dislodges and breaks apart the fat before suctioning it out of the body. He may use a special cannula that vibrates or emits ultrasound to make fat removal easier. After suctioning away the targeted fat, Dr. Sisco contours the remaining fat to ensure smooth results and even coverage before closing the incisions. You’ll need a friend or family member to drive you home after surgery.

Liposuction Recovery Time

Depending on the extent of your procedure, you may need to take up to 1 week off from work and other social obligations. You will also need to wear a supportive compression garment in order to reduce swelling and facilitate healthy healing. Dr. Sisco prescribes pain medication to keep you comfortable during the healing process.

When Will I See My Results After Liposuction?

Depending on the amount of fat removed, post-op swelling decreases within 1 to 3 months, revealing your beautiful new contours.

Dr. Mark Sisco is truly a master of his trade. I never expected my breasts to look so great. To say I was scared was an understatement, I had never had any type of surgery. I interviewed numerous surgeons, my friends interviewed surgeons for me, no one had the credentials that Dr. Sisco has. I went to Dr Sisco for a revised breast lift after very disappointing results from Dr Kotis who performed the wrong lift yet charged the same. I can not be happier! I finally have the right lift!! Dr Sisco was caring, he understood my needs, attentively listened and clearly communicated what the expectations should be and thereby the results. His work was meticulous vs sloppy and bedside manners were professional and attentive vs dismissive and rushed.

Dr Sisco and staff were amazingly supportive! Dr. Sisco is a magician. 2010 I had a double mastectomy. I was so happy the cancer was was gone I just dealt with the my new breast. They were very hard, lopsided and headlights went in opposite directions. But I was alive. I decided to look into reconstruction after 10 years. 2 plastics surgeons said they would not take me one. 2 plastics told me it would be 3 surgeries and over a year long process. I meet Dr. Sisco. I immediately like his supportive easy going manor. He said he could probably do it in 1 surgery. Maybe 2. I was able to get on his schedule quickly. I had the surgery May 29th at Evanston hospital. Dr. Sisco’s team was top notch! I was home same day. 3 months later I feel like myself again. I am not sure why I waited so long. I am so happy with the results. I did not need a 2nd surgery. I am so proud of this girls. They remind me of the originals. My husband cannot stop staring at them. I would highly recommend Dr. Sisco!!
