This patient, in her 50s, had undergone a left mastectomy and breast reconstruction nearly 30 years earlier for DCIS, followed by treatment for a recurrence two years later. Over time, she was left with significant asymmetry between her reconstructed breast and her natural breast. Dr. Sisco revised the left reconstructed breast with a lift and performed a lift on the right breast to improve her overall balance and symmetry. Her breasts are now much more even in shape and position, and she is pleased with how far her reconstruction has come.
