Case Details
This woman had a history of breast cancer and previously underwent a lumpectomy with radiation treatment on her left breast. She developed another cancer and decided to have a double mastectomy. Since she had pre-existing radiation damage on the left side, Dr. Sisco reconstructed that breast with a silicone implant and tissue from her back (latissimus flap). The right breast was reconstructed with a silicone implant alone. She had nipple reconstruction performed in the office.
